AquaEssentials® TAC+ increases the total alkalinity of pool water. Proper alkalinity helps maintain a stable pH level and makes it less sensitive to weather conditions or excessive use of chemicals.
When the total alkalinity of the water is between 100 and 150 ppm, the pH level remains stable.
